HETiA participated at the 10th International Conference on Micro-Nanoelectronics, Athens, 02-05 November 2023

 

 

Hellenic Emerging Technologies Industry Association – HETIA, participated at the Micro Nano 2023, 10th International Conference on Micro-Nanoelectronics, Nanotechnology and MEMS., that took place on 02-05 November 2023, in Athens.

The annual conference Micro Nano 2023 this year was co-organized by the Micro&Nano Scientific Society of Greece and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

The conference aims to connect people from academia, research and industry, so as to stimulate discussions on the latest scientific achievements and to further promote micro- and nanotechnologies.

The Τopics of the conference included. Materials for Devices, Micro and Nano – Fabrication Processes and Development, Sensors and Actuators, Electronic, Optoelectronic and Photonic Devices and Micro and Nano-technologies for Energy.

 

In honor of the Conference’s 10th Anniversary, a Special Event took place as the Opening Ceremony on November 2nd, 2023. This significant occasion marked the commemoration and celebration of 40 years of advancements in Microelectronics in Greece. Dr. Emmanuel Zervakis, President of HETiA, graced the event with his presence and delivered a welcoming address at the outset. HETiA extended its support by sponsoring the Best Poster Award at the conference, further contributing to the success of this milestone celebration.

The event included plenary talks delivered by Greek pioneers of the field who will present the history and evolution of Microelectronics in the country. Moreover, prominent Greek scientists who have dedicated their life’s work to the development of Microelectronics were honored for their contributions.
