HETiA, is very pleased to be an Official Partner of Elevate Greece, joining a diverse and influential network that supports the growth and expansion of the Greek Innovation Ecosystem. The Partners of Elevate Greece contributes – in the form of the National Startup Awards – play a decisive role in re-boosting the Greek Economy!
Elevate Greece is an initiative launched by the Greek Government, intended to identify promising startups and support their growth nurturing a robust innovation ecosystem along the way.
The initiative provides a digital gate through which Greek startups can apply requesting to be officially accredited by competent State Ministry (Ministry of Development & Investments – General Secretariat for Research & Technology [GSRT]).
The validity of the procedure is based on the judgment of assessors of recognized prestige, who are appreciated by the ecosystem at the business and academic level in matters of innovation and entrepreneurship.
This effort has 8 goals:
- Official and reliable registration of start-ups
- Mapping of the ecosystem that they compose
- Networking between the companies
- Business extroversion (bilingual platform)
- Monitoring their progress in the critical indicators (KPIs) but also the creation of a monitoring system of the entire Greek ecosystem through a special dashboard with metadata analysis
- Creation of a database for finding specialized-scientific jobs in start-ups
- Operation of the platform as an attraction for investors: Angel Investors, Venture Capital Funds and companies from Greece and abroad
- Targeted support through various potential measures, in terms of funding from the State (eg NSRF, subsidy of insurance contributions, tax exemptions) and awarding of business prizes. highlight and network the entire ecosystem.
