GRECiOT IKE Joins HETIA
14 January 2021: GRECiOT IKE. became a Member of the Hellenic Emerging Technologies Industry Association (HETIA), thus joining forces with top high-tech companies from this region to help the Digital Technologies (digital twin, microelectronics, embedded, IoT) industry of Southeastern Europe progress and become a dynamic & credible partner in the global market.
GRECiOT is a new Startup company from Thessaloniki, created by people with experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) Ecosystem. GERCiOT provides the following end2end solutions:
Real Time Location System: The Real-Time Tracking System (RTLS allows the location of objects, equipment or people for security reasons. Since GPS is not reliable indoors because there is no visual contact with GPS satellites, An RTLS (Real-Time Detection System) must use other positioning methods, using special equipment.
Real-time condition monitoring IoT sensors (made in Greece) display status data from various sources in real time in the Cloud such as temperature, humidity, power consumption, atmospheric pressure, discomfort index, acceleration, brightness, flood etc.
Indoor Navigation Internal navigation is always required when people want to browse complex buildings. In places where the GPS signal is usually non-existent, such as inside buildings, technologies such as Wi-Fi or beacons (Bluetooth Low Energy, BLE) to create the so-called “internal GPS” or using special equipment or by using the Smartphones of the visitors.
The Communication Protocols that GRECiOT use are:
