Ex Machina PC Joins HETiA

14 January 2021: Ex Machina (EXM P.C.)  became a Member of the Hellenic Emerging Technologies Industry Association (HETiA), joining the high-tech companies aspiring to progress the IoT industry in Southeastern Europe.

EXM was established in 2015 to deliver cutting edge IoT solutions with predictive analytics to weather-sensitive industries.

Towards the goal of smarter cities, weather-sensitive enterprises need weather and environmental data to create process insights and to support decision-making. From generating this data in-situ to analysing existing data,  EXM provides state-of-the-art IoT technologies and expertise to turn data into a valuable asset. EXM empowers enterprises to understand how weather affects their field of activity and how their processes affect the environment. EXM’s clients are bespoke industrial enterprises, airports, motorways, ports, energy utility companies (see portfolio and published case studies).

EXM’s core products include a feature rich IoT Platform accompanied by an environmental IoT hardware gateway that connects to a plethora of industrial sensors, from weather stations, to air to water quality sensors. Building on this technology EXM took a strategic decision in 2019 to further progress its weather sensing technology in order to enrich weather analytics and forecasting capability. With the support of HAX (www.hax.co ), the world’s largest hardware accelerator part of SOSV (www.sosv.com) EXM is developing world’s first weather station designed for large scale dense network deployments. This novel weather station supports numerous wireless protocols (GSM/LTE/NBIoT/WiFi/BLE/LoRa/GPS), is energy autonomous, and features full weather sensing capabilities of temperature, humidity, pressure, luminosity, rain, wind, and lightning.

EXM is eager to enter new weather-sensitive industrial domains that can benefit from novel IoT predictive services through collaboration with HETIA’s members.
