HETiA Highlights Participation at MWC Barcelona 2026
The Hellenic Emerging Technologies Industry Association (HETiA) highlights the presence of Mr. Manolis Frantzeskakis, Member of the HETiA Board of Directors and CEO of Argo Semiconductors SA, at MWC Barcelona 2026, one of the world’s most influential global events for digital technologies, telecommunications and innovation.
Held from 2–5 March 2026 at the Fira Gran Via exhibition centre in Barcelona, the event brought together leading technology companies, innovators, investors and policymakers from around the world to explore the latest developments shaping the global digital ecosystem and the many ways they will affect our everyday life in the near future.

This year, Greece participated with a national pavilion under the central message “Innovative Minds: Global Impact”, showcasing the dynamism and growing international footprint of the Greek technology ecosystem. A record 48 Greek companies and organisations took part in the initiative, conducting more than 635 business meetings with international stakeholders and opening new opportunities for collaboration and business development.
The participation of Greek technology leaders in events such as MWC Barcelona highlights the country’s growing role in the international innovation landscape, particularly in high-value sectors such as semiconductors, microelectronics and advanced digital technologies, which are increasingly shaping the future of Europe’s digital and industrial competitiveness. Greece is actively contributing to Europe’s efforts for coping with the unprecedented speed of changes in the tech world and for establishing tech sovereignty.
As a Board Member of HETiA, Mr. Frantzeskakis actively contributes to strengthening the Greek emerging technologies ecosystem, supporting initiatives that promote innovation, international collaboration and the global visibility of Greek deep-tech companies.
