HETiA’s Participation in the “15th Panorama of Entrepreneurship & Career Development 2025”, Megaron Concert Hall, March 28, 2025

 

 

HETiA participated in the 15th Panorama of Entrepreneurship & Career Development 2025, taking part in a panel discussion on: “Career Opportunities in Greece’s Growing Semiconductor Industry”, highlighting the sector’s prospects and employment opportunities for young professionals. The panel took place on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 15:15 to 16:15, at the Athens Concert Hall.

The Panorama of Entrepreneurship & Career Development is the largest multi-conference in Greece, connecting young professionals with the job market, promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and career opportunities.

HETiA panel “Microchip: Come and work in a trillion-dollar industry”

 

The discussion began with an introductory statement by Manolis Zervakis, who presented the Greek semiconductor ecosystem, analyzing the sector’s opportunities, challenges, and growth prospects.

Each speaker then elaborated on:
✅ The role of semiconductors in their company’s products and services.
✅ The skills required in the sector and the job opportunities being created.
✅ The investments and growth potential within Greece.
✅ The apprenticeship, education, and training programs companies support, investing in workforce talent.

Konstantina Tsiapali introduced the Hellenic Chips Competence Center (HCCC), which is set to launch soon, aiming to:
🔹 Enhance research and investment for the development of microelectronics in the EU.
🔹 Drive innovation through the creation of advanced technologies and their integration into the industry.
🔹 Educate and train specialized professionals, addressing the skills gap in the sector.
🔹 Strengthen supply chain resilience, supporting SMEs in developing innovative products.
🔹 Promote international collaboration, expanding development and competitiveness opportunities.

Through these initiatives, HCCC aspires to become a key pillar in the growth of the semiconductor sector in Greece and Europe, contributing to the formation of a resilient and innovative technological ecosystem.

The panel concluded with an open discussion, where the audience had the opportunity to ask questions via the Conferience app, fostering an engaging and insightful dialogue on the future of the industry.
