HETiA Participates in Panorama Entrepreneurship & Career Development’s “Career Paths” Event
Hellenic Emerging Technologies Industry Association (HETiA) participated in the online event “Career Paths“, held on 8 July 2026 as part of the Panorama Entrepreneurship & Career Development, one of Greece’s leading career development initiatives connecting students, graduates and professionals with academia and industry.
Dr. Emmanuel Zervakis, President of HETiA & Chief Business Officer at ES Systems, participated as a featured speaker in the session “What Career Paths Are Available for Physicists?”
Drawing on his personal academic and professional journey, Dr. Zervakis shared the reasons that led him to study Physics, the educational and career choices that shaped his professional path, and the valuable lessons he gained throughout his career. He also reflected on the importance of remaining open to new opportunities, continuously developing new skills, and embracing lifelong learning in an ever-evolving technological landscape.
The session explored the broad range of career opportunities available to physics graduates, highlighting the growing demand for talent in semiconductors, advanced technologies, research and innovation. Through their diverse professional experiences, the speakers encouraged young scientists to pursue interdisciplinary career paths and embrace the opportunities emerging across industry and academia.
