HETiA participated in the “Career Day 2024” of the University of Peloponnese, on the 12th of April, 2024

 

 

The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering of the University of Peloponnese, organized a Career Day on the 12th of April, 2024, at the Great Amphitheater of the campus, located in Koukouli.

Representatives of 20 technology companies (see HERE the full list), more than 170 students and graduates of the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering – as well as students of other departments of Engineering of PA.PEL. and Computer & Information Technology departments of the University of Patras – and 20 speakers, attended the event, which aimed to connect students with the labor market.

The program included parallel actions, such as the realization of speeches – presentations by specialized company executives, academics, representatives of organizations that promote technology, innovation and entrepreneurship, students and graduates of the Department who shared advice and experiences from internships and work.

HETiA participated in the fifth session of the event on “Tech starting-up: Pillars and directions on the road to entrepreneurship” and was represented from Mr. Dimitris Papailiou, Business Development Director at yodiwo, member of HETiA (the agenda can be found HERE).

In total, more than 250 people attended the event, turning the space inside and outside the Great Amphitheater into a point of exchange of targeted knowledge, experiences, advice, in the light of professional careers and partnerships.

 

 

HETiA members Chip Globe, Power Factors, Renesas Design Greece and Yodiwo  was also present at the Career Day with booths, exhibiting informational material and developing discussions with students about their subjects and employment prospects.
