HETiA participated at the 2023 EBAN Annual Congress, Thessaloniki 24-26 May, 2023

The 2023 EBAN Annual Congress took place in Thessaloniki between 24-26 May, 2023 and brought together 500+ angel investors, entrepreneurs, and industry experts from around the globe to explore the latest trends, opportunities, and challenges in the startup ecosystem.
The most important annual event for emerging businesses seeking investment capital was hosted for the first time in our country, providing an opportunity for investors from around the world to meet Greek start-up companies and get firsthand experience of the Greek ecosystem of entrepreneurship. The 2023 congress was co-organized by Enterprise Greece and EBAN, in collaboration with HeBAN and with the support of BEYOND (https://www.beyond-expo.gr).

The EBAN Congress 2023 provided the opportunity for Business Angels, Venture Capital Funds, and Accelerators to engage with the domestic ecosystem through four scheduled pitching sessions, in which 34 emerging businesses participated, as well as numerous networking events. During the conference, speeches were given by internationally renowned speakers, business angels, and prominent executives of companies.
Dr. Emmanuel Zervakis – HETiA President, participated as a speaker in panel “Sector Deep Dive – Science and Deep Tech Investing”, on the 25th May, 2023. The panel also featured as speakers:

During the conference, the awards were presented to the start-up companies that participated in the pitching competitions and the attendees had also the opportunity to explore the BEYOND Expo 2023 exhibition (https://www.beyond-expo.gr), which took place in parallel.
