Founders of HETiA members present at Hellenic Parliament
HETiA members are leading the way for technological research and development and that is one of the reasons they become targets for mergers and acquisitions by large foreign corporates, or receive private funding in order to proceed from successful proof-of-concept to scale-up and growth.
The accumulated experience of our member company founders, their lessons learned and their ideas for paving paths to success, must be taken into account when designing governmental policies that shape technological ecosystems. In this context, the Hellenic Parliament’s permanent committee for research and technology, hosts sessions that invite company founders or distinguished executives of respective Greek firms to speak and discuss about existing or new legal frameworks and state initiatives. Two noted sessions that included HETiA members’ founders are referenced below:
- Mr. George Sidiropoulos, Senior Director & Co-Founder of Think Silicon S.A., Country President of Applied Materials spoke in the session that took place on 14/4/2022 with the subject of “Startups, technological innovation and corporate acquisitions”.

- Dr. Sotiris Bantas, Centaur Analytics President & CEO, HETiA Vice President gave also a speech in the session that took place on 28/6/22 with the subject “AgTech, innovation and entrepreneurship”.
