The Hellenic Photonics Cluster (HPhos), based in Athens, Greece, has been a non-profit organization since 2015. It encompasses innovative enterprises engaged in various areas of photonics-related technologies, with a core group of knowledge-intensive businesses and research organizations. The ecosystem includes companies and startups that are either actively involved in the photonics industry or serve as photonics end-users. Our members collaborate to provide integrated industrial photonics products, services, and solutions across a wide range of applications, including manufacturing and automation, agriculture, defense and security, cultural heritage, health, environmental sustainability, and energy efficiency. HPhos aims to foster a dynamic environment for developing new ideas and innovative products while establishing a robust support infrastructure for entrepreneurship and the internationalization of Greek enterprises. This is achieved through strong collaborations with photonics clusters across Europe and active participation in European initiatives and projects that promote the adaptation of photonics and related technologies, such as PhotonHub Europe, Phorwards 21 and PhotonHub Phactory.
