HETiA Participates in the General Assembly of HASDIG
The President of the Hellenic Emerging Technologies Industry Association (HETiA) and Hellenic Chips Competence Centre (HCCC) Dr. Emmanuel Zervakis, participated in the Annual General Assembly of the Hellenic Aerospace Security & Defense Industries Group (HASDIG), held on 10 November 2025 at the Officers’ Club of the Armed Forces (LAED) in Athens.
In his address, Dr. Zervakis highlighted the importance of reinforcing the links between the aerospace, security, defence and emerging technology sectors, emphasizing the need for coordinated action among industry, research institutions and institutional stakeholders to strengthen Greece’s competitiveness in advanced technologies. In this context, he underscored the role of HETiA as a key industrial association promoting collaboration, innovation and the development of high-technology capabilities across the country’s emerging tech ecosystem.
In addition, Dr. Zervakis provided a brief overview of the HCCC’s early activities, noting its contribution to Greece’s microelectronics and semiconductor landscape. He underlined that, following the establishment of its strategic framework, the HCCC is progressing toward projects aligned with national and European priorities in strategic application domains and critical technologies. He reaffirmed that the mission of the HCCC is to serve as a national hub for semiconductor design, training and innovation, supporting industry, research bodies and startups with capabilities connected to the European Chips Act.

The General Assembly brought together leaders from the aerospace, defense, innovation and investment communities, featuring contributions from the Ministry of Defense, Enterprise Greece, the European Investment Bank, and multiple industry associations, highlighting current priorities and emerging opportunities across Greece’s strategic technology sectors.
