HETiA participated in the Micro Nano 2024, 11th International Conference on Micro-Nanoelectronics, Nanotechnology and MEMS, Lemnos, 11-13 October 2024
From October 11 to 13, 2024, HETiA participated in the Micro Nano 2024 conference, which aimed to connect individuals from academia, research, and industry to stimulate discussions on the latest scientific achievements and promote micro- and nanotechnology.
Held annually in different cities across Greece, the Micro Nano conference has become a vital event for knowledge sharing and fostering collaboration. The 2024 edition took place on the island of Lemnos, co-organized with the Department of Food Science and Nutrition of the University of the Aegean. Following the success of the preceding event in Athens, the Lemnos conference marked another significant milestone in promoting innovation and technological advancements within this growing sector.

- Sensors and Actuators
- Electronic, Optoelectronic, and Photonic Devices

Demonstrating its commitment to supporting and promoting emerging technologies, HETiA made a noteworthy contribution to the conference. Dr. Emmanuel Zervakis, President of HETiA, delivered an invited talk that highlighted the association’s pivotal role in advancing micro- and nanotechnologies in Greece. He emphasized the importance of collaboration among research institutions, industry, and innovation, shedding light on HETiA’s active members and the regions they serve.
Looking ahead, HETiA is excited to announce its collaboration with Micro Nano Scientific Society and FORTH – Foundation for Research & Technology, Hellas for the upcoming Emerging Tech Conference “Edge Intelligence” 2025, which will be jointly organized along with the 12th Micro Nano conference, between 13-17 October, 2025, in Heraklion, Crete. The partnership aims to further explore advancements in technology and foster dialogue among diverse stakeholders in the field.
