HETiA and HDB Sign MoU to Strengthen Greece’s Innovation and Emerging Technologies Ecosystem
The HDB – Hellenic Development Bank S.A. and the Hellenic Emerging Technologies Industry Association (HETiA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening Greece’s innovation ecosystem and accelerating the growth of emerging technologies.
The MoU was signed by Ismini Papakirillou, CEO of HDB, and Emmanuel Zervakis, President of HETiA, reaffirming the shared commitment of both organizations to support technology-driven entrepreneurship and foster a more dynamic and competitive innovation landscape. The signing was also attended by Manolis Frantzeskakis, Member of the Board of Directors of HETiA, highlighting the strategic importance of this collaboration for the association and its broader role in advancing Greece’s deep tech ecosystem.

The partnership is designed to foster innovative, technology-driven entrepreneurship by strengthening collaboration, sharing expertise, and activating the combined networks of both organizations. Through this joint effort, it seeks to enhance the international presence and global positioning of the Greek technology ecosystem.
A strong focus is placed on high-impact sectors such as microelectronics, semiconductors, embedded systems, and, more broadly, deep tech technologies—areas that are critical for advancing innovation and reinforcing Greece’s role in the global technological landscape.
Through this collaboration, HDB and HETiA aim to empower high-tech companies in Greece with the tools, knowledge, and strategic support needed to innovate, grow, and successfully expand into international markets.
