HETiA and Enterprise Greece co-organised successfully the first national participation in Electronica 2022
ELECTRONICA is the world’s leading international trade-fair and the very first place to see which components, systems, applications and solutions make new developments such as smart homes and connected cars possible. HETiA (Hellenic Emerging Technologies Industry Association) in collaboration with Enterprise Greece organised the 1st national participation in Electronica 2022 that took place in Messe München from the 15th to the 18th of November 22 having around 2,100 exhibitors from almost 50 countries on around 150,000 square meters and with approx. 70,000 visitors.
In our pavilion the following Greek companies exhibited their products and services: ADVEOS, AKRONIC, ELPRA, ES SYSTEMS, IRIDA LABS, MEICSI and WEASIC. The companies’ counters received many visitors for leads generation and participated in scheduled or ad-hoc physical meetings in the booth’s dedicated meeting room.
Our pavilion received distinguished guests from the Greek engineering community in Munich, as well as Dr. Vassilios Gouloussis (Consul General) and Mr. Georgios Lymperis (Secretary for Economic and Commercial Affairs)
Emmanouil Metaxakis – WEASIC CEO, made the following statement:
“Weasic – a world leader in mmWave IP for 5G, SatCom and RADARS, participated for the first time in ELECTRONICA 2022 joining the Hellenic pavilion. We had the chance to reinforce relations with existing customers and generate significant prospects as Electronica gathers a significant number of players in our sales pool.”
George Dimitropoulos – ADVEOS CEO, made the following statement:
«Electronica as an exhibition is completely aligned with ADVEOS promotional activities and our participation in the Greek pavilion was absolutely positive. Many new leads were created and targeted meeting with customers and partners took place as the pavilion’s Hall was convenient in terms of market/industry placement. We believe that we will also participate in the 2024 edition and we thank HETiA and Enterprise Greece for their financial and moral support – congratulations to their successful coordination in arranging the national participation.»
HETiA president, Dr. Manolis Zervakis made the following statement:
“As HETiA maintains in its core the majority of the Greek chips and embedded systems design ecosystem, it was absolutely anticipated that Electronica would be at the top of our members preference for exhibition participation – especially after cancellation due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I would like to thank Enterprise Greece for its support in co-organising the first national mission, thus placing Greece on the semiconductor map and in alignment with the formulation of a national strategy within EU’s CHIPS ACT. We renew our appointment for Electronica in 2024 with the aspiration of an even bigger national participation.”
