From its inception in 2005, HETiA bears the innovation mentality of its industrial members forming a technological innovation cluster and liaising with governmental and academic actors to strengthen its ecosystem. This role has been endorsed and supported by public funding instruments (ref to ESPA programme).
Recently, and in order to promote our ties to academia while fostering an industry-wide dialogue on technology trends and developments, we launched two events around emerging tech.
Held each year in downtown Athens is the ecosystem’s gathering event, targeting to create awareness for HETiA members to governmental actors and society, discuss developments and challenges and finally propose ideas on capitalisation of Greece’s competitive advantages in the global technological landscape. The forum is implemented with keynote speeches, thematic panels with governmental, academic and industrial representatives and offers an excellent opportunity for corporate marketing through an attractive offering of sponsorship tiers.
Held each year in a different Greek university targeting to highlight the synergies and results of the collaboration of academic and research institutions and their researchers with entrepreneur entities in areas of emerging technologies. The conference includes a program of speeches, presentation of results in the form of posters and discussion panels. Best papers, technologies and industrial doctorates are awarded by the Organizing Committee of the conference. In parallel, a career day is organized for the students of the university in order to present them with fulfilling career paths through highly-skilled roles.
