Simtec S.A. Joins HETIA
07 February 2020: SIMTEC S.A. became a Member of the Hellenic Emerging Technologies Industry Association (HETIA), thus joining forces with top high-tech companies from this region to help the Digital Technologies (digital twin, microelectronics, embedded, IoT) industry of Southeastern Europe progress and become a dynamic & credible partner in the global market.
SIMTEC is the leading certified channel partner of ANSYS in South-East Europe, offering the broadest and most integrated simulation software and consulting services portfolio in this region, combining fluids, structures and electronics simulation and covering a wide range of electrical and mechanical engineering applications.
SIMTEC also contributes to research and development of ANSYS software for Computational Fluid Dynamics simulation and to several national and European funded research programs. Since its establishment in Thessaloniki 20 years ago, it has been a pioneer in the field of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE), introducing simulation to South-East Europe. Back in 2001 only few industrial companies utilized simulation to aid their design process. Creating and validating the virtual prototype of a product had been perceived as an excessive luxury.
Throughout the last two decades, SIMTEC engineers aided in converting this perception to today’s view of simulation as an indispensable part of the workflow for design and optimization.
