HETiA Joins ‘Apla Psifiaka’ Podcast to Discuss Greece’s Chip Future – July 17, 2025
The President of HETiA Dr. Emmanuel Zervakis, was recently invited to speak on the well-known digital innovation podcast “Apla Psifiaka”, hosted by Dimitris Mallas and Niki Papazoglou, to discuss recent developments in Greece’s semiconductor sector, including the official establishment of the Hellenic Chips Competence Centre (HCCC).
Reflecting on HETiA’s 20-year journey supporting innovation and high-tech entrepreneurship, Dr. Zervakis emphasized the growing importance of semiconductors as a cornerstone of industrial and digital autonomy in Europe. The creation of the HCCC—developed with the support of the European Chips Joint Undertaking under the “Chips for Europe” initiative—marks a key step toward strengthening Greece’s capacity in microelectronics R&D, design, testing, and talent development.
