HETiA participated at NCSR Demokritos “60th Summer School”, Athens, 7 July, 2025
Hellenic Emerging Technologies Industry Association (HETiA) participated in the distinguished session “Human Resources – Finding a Job”, held as part of the 60th Summer School organized by the National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos”.
Representing HETiA, Dr. Emmanouel Zervakis, President of HETiA, delivered a keynote address titled “Expanding the Digital Frontiers,” offering a comprehensive overview of HETiA’s mission to support the development of cutting-edge technologies and to strengthen the bridge between research, innovation, and industry in Greece. Dr. Zervakis presented HETiA’s dynamic ecosystem, which includes leading Greek technology companies, startups, and scaleups active in fields such as microelectronics, embedded systems, photonics, and industrial software.

The session was further enriched by the participation of two HETiA member companies, represented by experienced talent acquisition professionals who shared valuable perspectives from their organizations:
- Manolis Fotakis, MSc, Talent Acquisition Specialist at ANSYS, presented “Ansys: Engineering Simulation”, providing insights into the company’s global footprint, simulation technologies, and career paths in high-performance engineering.
- Giannis Karagiannidis, Talent Acquisition Specialist at THEON INTERNATIONAL, spoke on “Theon Group Human Capital Outlook: Strategy, Impact, Vision”, highlighting the company’s approach to talent, skills development, and its role as a global player in optoelectronic systems.
