24 January 2025: Industrial Edge Engineering became a Member of the Hellenic Emerging Technologies Industry Association (HETIA), thus joining forces with top high-tech companies from this region to help the Digital industrial ecosystem (microelectronics, embedded systems, digital technologies, IoT) of South-Eastern Europe evolve and become a versatile & credible partner in the global market.
Industrial Edge Engineering is a company based in Larisa, Greece, with a branch office in Chania, Greece, and a subsidiary in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
Founded in 2021 as a startup, IEE has grown into a small to medium-sized enterprise, currently employing over 30 people.
The company specializes in providing industrial engineering services to leading high-tech companies across Europe, with a focus on developing and industrializing cutting-edge machinery for semiconductor production, design optimization, and efficient assembly processes.
It’s industrial engineering services include:
- Requirements Engineering: Ensuring manufacturability, serviceability, and upgradeability.
- Availability Management: Failure rate analysis at spare, assembly, and system levels, including MTTR assessments.
- Functional Safety for Process Industries: Design of safety systems and conducting risk analysis.
- Design Reviews: Assessment of Functional Block Diagrams and detailed electrical/mechanical drawings.
- System Blueprints & Build/Service Sequences: Development of structured sequential and parallel step processes.
- Work Instructions: Clear, detailed and repeatable documentation for operators.
- Diagnostics: Creation of diagnostics procedures for operators.
