HETiA @IoT Solutions World Congress in Barcelona, 29-31 October 2019

 

Hellenic Emerging Technologies Industry Association (HETIA), in cooperation with the national organization Enterprise Greece and the support of the Hellenic Association of Mobile Applications of Greece HAMAC and the Head of the Office for Economic & Commercial Affair at Embassy of Greece in Spain, Mrs Alia Papanastasiou, organized for the fourth time the Greek participation, at the international exhibition of Digital & Information Technology and Telecommunications, IOT Solutions World Congress 2019, in Barcelona, 29-31 October 2019.

 

The IOT Solutions World Congress is one of the top events in the Internet of Things industries world-wide. This year’s event was attended by leading companies in the industry such as: Deloitte, Microsoft, SAS, Vodafone, etc., as well as countries with a national stand (such as Bavaria, Austria, Romania and Spain) in one of the leading events for the Internet of Things. The exhibition hosted over 16,000 visitors from 12 countries, 350 exhibitors and 300 speeches on the future of this strongly growing industry.

In the Greek Pavilion the participating companies were: Elbis, ES Systems, HDL Design House Greece, Inaccess Networks, Irida Labs, Metis Cyberspace Technology, Prisma Electronics, SingularLogic-SenseOne. and presented their innovative high-tech solutions and various IoT applications.

 




Greek Pavilion

 

The President of HETiA Mr. Emmanuel Zervakis, Mrs Stella Giannopoulou from Enterprise Greece and the General Manager of HAMAC Mr. Yiannis Kotsis-Giannarakis, accompanied the Greek Delegation. During the event, the Head of the Office for Economic & Commercial Affair at Embassy of Greece in Spain Mrs. Alia Papanastasiou, and the Director and Member of the Board of the Spanish Hellenic Chamber of Commerce in Madrid Mrs Miriam Rodriguez Ruiz, visited the Greek Pavilion and met the representatives of the participating companies and got informed for their high-tech solutions and future plans in Spain.

 

Greek Delegation

 

Greek entrepreneurs conducted more than 100 B2B meetings with other stakeholders and explored the possibilities of collaborating with major players in the IoT area with significant commercial results.
