HETiA Highlights Innovation, Collaboration and Emerging Technologies at BEYOND Expo 2026

The Hellenic Emerging Technologies Industry Association (HETiA) successfully participated in BEYOND Expo 2026, held on June 17–19, 2026, at the Metropolitan Expo, Athens, contributing to one of Southeast Europe’s leading gatherings for technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.

For another consecutive year, HETiA joined forces with SEKEE (Association of Innovative Applications Enterprises of Greece) through a joint presence at Hall 3 – Stand D44, welcoming technology companies, researchers, startups, entrepreneurs, policymakers and ecosystem stakeholders from Greece and abroad.

Over the course of the three-day exhibition, HETiA actively engaged in discussions on emerging technologies, semiconductors, artificial intelligence, innovation and digital transformation, while showcasing initiatives that support the growth and international competitiveness of Greece’s technology ecosystem.

A key highlight of HETiA’s & SEKEE’S participation was the panel discussion “AI Beyond Hype: Scaling Systems That Actually Work”, which brought together distinguished experts from across the technology ecosystem to discuss the practical deployment, scalability and business impact of Artificial Intelligence.

The panel featured:

  • Myron Flouris – Innovation Expert, Head of Steering Committee AI Catalyst
  • Fotis Foukalas – Technology Director, Cogninn
  • Nikolaos Chatzidakis – CEO, AfterSalesPro
  • Alex Maniatopoulos – Founder & General Manager, Yodiwo
  • George Markatatos – CEO, ForceCRM
  • Emmanuel Zervakis – Chief Business Officer, ES Systems

Moderator: George Kourkoutas – Chief Editor, Startupper Mag

The discussion highlighted the transition from AI experimentation to real-world implementation, focusing on practical use cases, scalability challenges and the conditions required for organizations to create measurable value through Artificial Intelligence.

Throughout the exhibition, HETiA and SEKEE welcomed numerous visitors to their joint booth, providing an opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen existing partnerships, establish new connections and promote initiatives supporting innovation, semiconductors and emerging technologies.

HETiA would like to thank all members, partners, speakers, visitors and stakeholders who contributed to the success of this year’s participation and helped foster meaningful dialogue on the future of technology and innovation.

The Association remains committed to strengthening collaboration across industry, academia, research and public institutions, while continuing to support the development of a vibrant and internationally competitive Greek technology ecosystem.
