Greek Innovations Shine at IoT Solutions World Congress 2024: A Dynamic Presence in the Heart of Digital Transformation
The international technology exhibition IOT Solutions World Congress 2024, took place at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via Venue from May 21 to May 23, 2024. This year’s event attracted over 10,800 visitors, featured 250 speakers, and showcased 377 exhibitors from over 100 countries. HETiA has consistently participated in this prestigious event since 2017, providing a platform for Greek companies to display their innovations and bolster their international presence and growth.
The 6th National Greek Participation in IOT Solutions World Congress 2024, was supported by Enterprise Greece SA, organized by HETiA – Hellenic Emerging Technologies Industry Association, co-organized by Pleiades IoT Innovation Cluster, and endorsed by SEKEE. The Greek pavilion, strategically located in Exhibitor Hall 1 – Pavilion D31, highlighted the cutting-edge technologies developed by Greek companies.
The Greek pavilion featured the following companies (in alphabetical order): BK Plus Europe, Calpak, Cicicom Ltd, DOTSOFT SA, EmDoT SA, ES Systems, Geospatial Enabling Technologies, IntelliSoft Integrated It Solutions, METEO unit/National Observatory of Athens (METEO/NOA), NousPratIT, Optechain, Prisma Electronics, PROBOTEK, Top Vision Ltd, Uni Systems and WINGS ICT Solutions. These Greek companies showcased their innovations across the entire IoT value chain, including hardware, connectivity, applications, and solutions applicable to various industrial ecosystems. They attracted numerous visitors and engaged in pre-arranged virtual and physical B2B meetings, leading to promising business opportunities.

During the second day of the exhibition, a networking event was held at the Greek pavilion with planned and targeted B2B meetings attended by a significant number of industry professionals.

The Greek participation was honored by the presence of distinguished guests at the national stand and networking event, which included the President and Vice President of the Spanish-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Andreas Pappas and Mr. Jacobo Beltrán, respectively, and the Counsellor for Economic and Commercial Affairs from the Greek Embassy in Spain, Mr. Pantelis Gassios. Additionally, the event was attended by a representative of ACCIÓ, representatives of the Technova Barcelona technology/science park, the local representative of the Intracom Telecom Group, and executives from neighboring booths from other countries.
